I’m Leanne, a Creative who specialises in Illustration, Creative Direction and Mural Art. I am South African, living in the North West of England since 2018. I am based in Bold Place Studios in Liverpool.
I am interested in creating illustrations and designs that start conversations, that address real issues and that communicate ideas in a meaningful and impactful way. I believe that creativity holds the key to unlocking potential, not only in brands and companies, but also as an individual.
I am also an experienced consumer products designer, specialising in kids fashion merchandise. With my background in fashion and retail, I came to realise that the power of design is something that can be used to positively impact society and the world.
I especially look to partner with creative agencies, brands, publications and individuals who use their voice for good - who create change in a meaningful way.
In May 2020 I co-founded The Embrace Project, which aims to “Creatively Combat” Gender Based Violence, particularly in South Africa. By selling Art, we aim to raise funds for grassroots organisations that are fighting GBV in their communities. We also raise awareness around the causes and prevalence of GBV.
